The station number is determined by its positioning relative to the game's electronics. The wheel that is above the power supply and electronics is station one. The middle cabinet is station two The far cabinet is station three (even if the game has the GoldZone in the middle). The wheel positioning is important to determine the ROMs needed for proper function.
